I served in the police force for 10 years. Recently I was injured on the job. So wanted to get out of the streets, mainly because my family will not have to constantly worry about me.

As a veteran police officer, I believe a security guard / officer position would best fit my skills and abilities. So I believe that I would be an ideal candidate for the position.

Possible Answer 3:

For five years I was a front office salesman for the XYC Corporation, which is the largest seller of ABC product in the U.S. So I have routinely engaged with people from all walks of life and all age groups.

To be a successful front office salesman of such a busy store, you need to be very observant and vigilant when you’re manning the desk.This translates to a lot of expertise in people management.

This skill, I believe, will help me greatly in my work as a security guard as I can anticipate people’s reaction to most ordinary and out of the ordinary situations.
