During the game, two boys began playing rough. As per the police report, one boy punched the other in the head, knocking him to the floor. During the commotion that followed, the stepfather of the boy that got hit ran at the coach and punched him in the throat. The two men's wives also got into the action, as per the police. What is LiveScan and why it is needed for getting a Guard Card?

Live scan (or LiveScan) refers to the machine as well as the process of fingerprinting by which the fingerprints are captured and transmitted electronically using a live scan (LiveScan) machine. LiveScan can facilitate electronic submission of fingerprints and the subsequent automated background checks. It is an inkless fingerprinting process.
