How flexible Is the Security Guard Job? I recently got a job offer as a security guard? Can I go to school and work at the same time? Are these jobs flexible in their schedule?
Depending on the company you work for and the nature of the Security Guard Job, it can be a flexible job compared to other regular jobs.
For example many places require 24 hour security and it will be possible for you to take a morning and evening shift thereby keeping the day time open for your school. However remember that you will not be able to change your schedule on a day by day basis which will make it impossible for others to schedule your work.
I personally know several security guards who goes to school on a part-time or full-time basis. But I need to warn you that working full-time and going to school full-time may be a real challenge unless you are a very organized person and willing to sacrifice active social life until your school is over.
